Addressing all three are necessary to achieving optimal health.
God made us a three-part being in His Image. He is a three part being. He is: (1) Father God, (2) God manifest in the flesh as Jesus Christ, and He is (3) The Holy Spirit. We are: (1), a spirit, containing memory, conscience, reasoning, imagination and affection. (2) We have a soul, containing mind, will and intellect. (3) We have a physical body.
Jesus said that man cannot live by bread alone. As important as nutrition is for our physical body, we must deal with our spirit, plus our soul along with our body. So we must change or improve in three areas: How we ‘act’ (spirit), how we ‘think’ (soul), and how we ‘eat’ (body). So, if one part of our three-part-being is fragmented and not in harmony with the other two parts, then, that will upset our entire physical body’s very delicate system.
God said that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We aren’t made to carry weights of worry. Jesus said to cast our cares on Him, as He cares for us. Worry or stress is proven to kill, as it destroys the body. So first, we must cast our cares on Jesus and let Him deal with them. Next, we must train our mind to think godly thoughts by reading the Bible, as Jesus said that we cannot live by bread alone.
Begin improving your health first by reading the Bible. Start your reading with the Gospel of John, then read the Letter to the Romans continuing on with the rest of the new testament. Also reading one proverb daily is an excellent way to increase in wisdom. Then, inquire of a nutrition specialist about what specific nutrition would be beneficial to your health concerns.
Change your diet and eat right. You will need to take vitamins, minerals, and enzymes, as food today is void of the nutritional value of foods our ancestors ate because of polluted soil, air, and water from factory fallout, etc. Food today is harvested days and weeks before it’s eaten, so it’s basically nutrition-void of the food straight from a garden. Supplement your diet and enforce God’s Word on the enemy.
This article is here to create hunger, so you will seek for health answers. Ask God for wisdom concerning your problem. Nothing is too hard for God, but by faith you must accept Him as your personal Savior to receive His promises. He will not go beyond our faith level. He gave us a free will, mind and emotions. He can’t violate that free will. Make up your mind to cooperate with His plan. He wishes above all things that you prosper and be in health (3 John 1:2).
