In a vita-mix, blend:

1 cup soaked raw cashews
1/3 cup soaked sunflower seeds
(soak the above for one hour and drain)
1/3 cup nutritional yeast
1 tsp. salt
1/2 lemon (juice)
1 red, yellow or orange pepper

(May need to add a couple tsp. or more water in order to get it to blend.)

Wash the kale taking the stems off. Leave the pieces quite large.  They shrink in the dehydrator. Do NOT shake off all the water from the kale. Leave it somewhat moist.

Pour the yeast mixture over the kale and start mixing and squeezing the
kale in order to distribute all the yeast mixture over each leaf.

Put in the dehydrator or in the oven at 150 degrees approximately 12 hours or until crisp.
